I have now lived 21 years therefore,
I am officially allowed to party hard in Vegas
(which I now have a jar dedicated to
for the trip I will be taking there some day!)
This past month has been full of stresses and thoughts pertaining to that fact that I have now spend 21 years doing fuck all and in my minds plan I only have 9 years left to get all my ducks in a row.
I know I know I'm still young and I have ALLL this time but c'mon,
9 years is NOT a lot of time at all especially when I think about
how much I still need to accomplish before i'm
"Thirty, Flirty & Thriving" haha
(love that movie!)
By the time i'm 30 I would realllly like to A.) be comfortable in a career that I enjoy, B.) I would like to own my own house even it is on the smaller side, C.) a wicked cool husband that understands I would die if I ever got stuck in an average sit-behind-a-desk-kinda-job even if that means we may not have a lot of money to spend on things we don't need, D.) a few children would also be pretty rad... i'd get to dress them up and teach them things... (I know there's more to it but for now those sound like the highlights of motherhood to me!), E.) I would also like to travel prior to having kids... and if possible include that into a career for as long as possible.
AH so much to do and so little time yet at 30 i'll still be sooo young and if I pick a man then i'll feel the need to stick with him until the end because that's what the whole vows thing is for and whoa... i'll still have 30 years to live with this dude until I retire and escape to mexico where I can be wild and free and probably never wear a bra again!
I'm starting to make my head spin again just thinking about all this...
First things first...
Get accepted into the school of my dreams: Half check! (they called the other day inquiring about more personal records from back when I was in high school which gets me thinking that just mayyybe they are actually interested in me attending this school!)
Summer Job to pay for expensive school of dreams: Half check! Keep hearing positive feedback regarding my last summers efforts so I hope that means I impressed enough to be asked to come back again this summer since this job is really my only way i'll be able to save enough moolah in order to accomplish said schooling.
Travel to various parts of the earth: Not this summer (working) not next school year (school = poor Sydney)...? Hm going to have to work on this goal a bit... Vegas has GOT to fit in somewhere :)
Three goals are enough to handle at a time... plus guys are so hit and miss these days... one minute you're all in love and happy the next you're flat out on your ass. Not saying that girls aren't just as hit and miss... but from my personal experience I feel like i'm the "nice" one in the relationship, and you know what they say... "The nice ones always finish last!" <--- this scares me to be honest.
I would rather find Mr. Right earlier on so I could spend as much time as possible in my youthful body before all goes downhill! <--- another thing that scares me lol
Awh well. Life's just going to keep on truckin' so why shouldn't I just enjoy the ride :) i've made it this far and it sure wasn't all that easy, a few more bumps won't surprise me nor throw me off track!
Birthday Celebrations!!
So today was a pretty chill day. Didn't do too much. Did get a bit more ink done (photos will be added in a bit). Nothing big or too fancy. I also spent some time with my lovely Baba & Dedo and uncle at the Olive Garden... BEST SALAD AND BREADSTICKS EVER!!!!!
Obviously I made sure to get an awful dose of alcohol swimming in my veins this past weekend. It was a grand time even though I may have only lasted until midnight haha. I wore a cute party dress with multi-colored ribbons and hot pink shoes, I felt like I looked 16 years old but didn't care one bit because I loved that dress the first time I saw it.. about two months ago!
I have a few photos but more to come as they have not been uploaded onto facebook at this time. I tried my very best at consuming 21 shots before calling it a night but only got up to 13 lol.. i know... im a lightweight. But in my defense they were of all types of alcohol and i'm not used to mixing it up that much, I also did not get sick even once (which I pride myself on especially since I had a prairie fire bought for me... yuck!) here a few photos that i have:
My friends mom, who I absolutely love to pieces, bought me a sweet card and a bottle of bubbles for my birthday!! Honestly, I have never popped open a bottle of champagne before and it was wayyyy harder then they make it look in the movies lol
Here is my attempt caught in video - Don't judge - haha :)
Throughout the night I had my friends document my journey to my 21st shot, these were taken along the way (not sure of the order since I only have the two so far but judging by my poses this was near the end haha)
Prairie Fire!!!!
Burt Reynolds :)
Must of had about four or more of these that night!
With more photos to be added this is all I can do for now! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend filled with love, laughter and happy memories!! <3
